I managed to get in even that it was not visit time, the place was simply open during the day and there were maintenance work, but no one complained.
Interesting space that needs a lot of care and attention. Lack of interesting exhibitions in the space and poorly maintained ones that were there
Beautiful palace. Interesting the story of Florio's family. Unfortunately it's possible to visit only the first floor. No guided tour. It should be totally open e seeable.
Beautiful neogothic building with lovely garden and view on the port and exstabilimento Florio in the backround
unattended info point but nice structure
Interesting history of the house and inhabitants who owned and developed the tonnara and other industries. Mostly in Italian.
Looks nice outside.
Interesting and beautiful from the outside, not necessarily noticeable on the inside. The interior lacks typical furnishings, there are only photos of the family. Beautiful stained glass window in the staircase. A beautiful terrace that can be viewed from the outside.
The former residence of the Florios has been recovered and now inside there is an interesting exhibition on the life of the Florios and their history. In addition to the museum part, the palace itself is also stunning and worth a visit. The garden around the villa is well cared for and excellent if you want to find shelter from the beating sun in summer. The rooms inside the building are very well cared for and kept. I recommend visiting the place before or after visiting the Florio factory.
A beautiful experience, to be visited in total tranquility, it contains photos and documents of the Florio family, a palace built in 1874, it was a lounge reserved for celebrations during the slaughter period.
The structure is constantly being renovated, some rooms empty.
In one room, the family's story is played full screen, currently available for playback on Raiplay.
A fantastic panorama to be admired from the windows of the building.
Entrance is paid for an almost symbolic sum.
